Job summary

Baptist is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist in Southaven, Mississippi. In this role, you will provide clinical services and administer anesthesia during surgical and diagnostic procedures.

A qualified candidate will have graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, hold AANA certification, and comply with state requirements. Your responsibilities will include patient assessments, care planning, and medication administration, alongside participating in educational and improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by the institution or State.
• Certified by the AANA and compliant with state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning advanced nursing practice.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.

Administers various types of anesthesia to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures, manipulation or setting of fractures, deliveries, and other therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
