Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Central Resource Team in Naperville, IL. This full-time daytime role supports a 36-hour week with shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, at Edward Hospital in Naperville.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN (or ADN with BSN within five years), IL RN licensure, CPR, and ACLS within one year. Experience in inpatient units is preferred and duties include direct patient care and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher.
• 1+ years RN experience in an inpatient unit.
• If ADN, must complete BSN within five years of start date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification (AHA or BLS).
• ACLS within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per Illinois RN Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and work as part of the team.
• Contribute to unit goals and maintain accurate progress notes.
