Job summary

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license required to practice.
• ASN required; BSN preferred from an accredited program.
• Ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care in the unit.
• Deliver care and lead supervised staff in the plan of care.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care as needed for quality results.
• Coordinate with Nurse Manager to maintain care standards.
• Deliver age-appropriate care for patients across the unit.
• Fulfill charge role responsibilities as nursing leader when needed.
