Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team for the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) in Boone, NC. The nurse will provide essential care to critically ill patients, with potential to float to other units as needed.

Requirements include NC RN license (or compact), BLS/ACLS/PALS, 2+ years CCU experience, and EPIC EHR experience. We offer health benefits, onboarding assistance, clinical support, 401k with match, travel housing perks.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team. The candidate will provide essential care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during the night shift. This role may require floating to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Critical Care Unit.


• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.


• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.


• Document all patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.


• Assist in emergency situations and respond to code blue calls as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current North Carolina RN license or compact RN license.


• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.


• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in critical care is required; travel experience preferred.


• Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC, is required.
