Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses patients and analyzes conditions to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
  • Implements and modifies plans of care using assessment data, evidence-based practice and patient education.
  • Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Evaluates progress toward attainment of desired patient outcomes.
  • Provides compassionate, high-quality care within an interdisciplinary team.

This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

  • Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.

  • Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decisioning to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.

  • Implements and/or modifies plan of care using assessment data, standards of care and evidence based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning. Facilitates interdisciplinary partnership in patient care.

  • Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights.

  • Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Evaluates progress towards attainment of desired patient outcomes.

Pay Range

$30.00 - $43.50 /hour
