Responsibilities

Alan B. Miller Medical Center opening in Spring 2026! A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence. The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations and will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase, the campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space and will offer Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services, with outpatient services in medical office buildings.

RN, Cath Lab (36 Hours A Week with Call)

The Cardiac Catheterization / Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (Cath/EP RN) provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and electrophysiology procedures in the acute care hospital setting. This role supports patient care across the continuum including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure monitoring and medication administration, and post-procedure recovery. The Cath/EP RN collaborates with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, technologists, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Education Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
• Prior experience in critical care, emergency department, PACU, IR, Cath Lab strongly preferred.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, vasoactive medications, and rapid clinical assessment preferred.

License / Certification:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
