Job summary

AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, planning and implementing interventions, and maintaining collaborative relationships with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.

You will participate in mandatory trainings and uphold aseptic and radiation safety standards. Ideal candidates hold FL RN licensure with current ACLS and BLS, have PCU nursing experience, and will complete

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• PCU level nursing for at least 2 years.
• Current FL RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NHSS Stroke Certification within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a willingness to maintain a harmonious working relationship with physicians and other staff members.
• Performs comprehensive assessments on patients to determine nursing needs and plans appropriate interventions.
• Identifies and anticipates patient care problems, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
• Attends mandatory hospital in-services and department staff meetings regularly.
• Demonstrates proficiency in aseptic techniques and radiation protection during invasive procedures.

Job Description:

• Demonstrates a willingness to maintain a harmonious working relationship with physicians and other staff members.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing upon hire
• PCU level nursing for at least 2 years upon hire
• Sheath Maintenance upon hire
• Current FL RN License upon hire
• Current American Heart Association ACLS upon hire
• Current American Heart Association BLS upon hire
• NHSS Stroke Certification within 6 months of hire date
• 2 hours Stroke education within 6 months of hire date, then 1 hour annually

Pay Range:

$33.08 - $58.04
