Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team in Casper, Wyoming. This role provides direct nursing care during diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitors hemodynamics, administers medications, and assists physicians during angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a current RN license, BLS and ACLS, and has ICU or critical care

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cardiac cath lab or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors hemodynamic status, EKG rhythm, and vitals during procedures.
• Administers sedation and procedural medications per orders.
• Assists physicians with catheter insertion and device use.
• Provides pre- and post-procedure education and monitors for complications.
• Documents procedural details and patient response in the chart.
• Maintains sterile technique and lab equipment function.

Job Summary

Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Monitors hemodynamic status, administers medications, and assists physicians during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies. Ensures patient safety and comfort before, during, and after the procedure.

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care, ICU, or cardiac nursing experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required)
• Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification (CVRN-BC) (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors patients' hemodynamic status, EKG rhythm, and vital signs throughout catheterization procedures.
• Administers conscious sedation and procedural medications per physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Assists physicians with catheter insertion, contrast administration, and interventional devices.
• Provides pre- and post-procedure patient education and monitors for complications such as bleeding or arrhythmia.
• Documents procedural details, medications administered, and patient response in the medical record.
• Maintains sterile technique and ensures proper functioning of catheterization lab equipment.
