Job summary

LoveWell Hospice is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our care team. You will provide high-quality patient care in patients' homes and in assisted living facilities, with emphasis on advocacy, communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. PREVIOUS HOSPICE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

FireNote EMR experience is preferred. Our office is in Allen, TX with coverage areas including Fort Worth and Arlington, TX, and surrounding Metroplex locations.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• At least 1 year hospice experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, particularly those with dementia or disabilities.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management, including family planning options.
• Utilize electronic health record systems (FireNote) for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in hospice medicine to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including patient homes and assisted living facilities.
