Qualifications

• RN licensure in state and 5+ years post-graduate nursing experience.
• Experience in case management, discharge planning, or nursing management.
• Acute care nursing experience 5+ years preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of Milliman Criteria and InterQual Criteria preferred.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage admission and concurrent review across care continuum.
• Advocate for cost containment and coordinate with care providers to ensure seamless delivery.
• Ensure medical necessity, intensity of service and severity of illness are documented.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
