Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Tulsa, OK is seeking a qualified RN to provide compassionate hospice care. The role involves assessing patients for Medicare eligibility, administering medications and following physician orders within Hospice guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds ADN or BSN with at least 1 year of nursing experience and a valid driver's license. The position offers competitive pay, BCBS medical benefits, dental & vision, PTO and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN/BSN).
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and admits only qualifying patients according to Medicare eligibility requirements.
• Administers medications and treatments per Hospice policy and care plan.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and physicians.
• Develops and implements written Plan of Care with physician orders and Hospice guidelines.
• Documents patient status timely and accurately per Hospice policy.
• Maintains teamwork and participates in case conferences.
• Makes visits as scheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and admits only qualifying patients according to Medicare eligibility requirements.
• Administers all medications and treatments according to Hospice policy and procedure, accepted standards of care and Hospice guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and physicians.
• Performs accurate assessments, develops and implements written Plan of Care with the patient, following physician’s orders and according to Hospice guidelines. Performs and documents nursing interventions including patient education according to the Pan of Care and adapts these actions as patient needs change.
• Documents patient status accurately, timely and concisely as required by Hospice policy. Addresses patient needs and problems, nursing intervention and patient response, safety interventions and education and teaching.
• Maintains a committed and cooperative attitude with staffing, promoting teamwork and harmony by readily assisting other staff and patients. Participates in case conferences/team meetings.
• Makes visits as scheduled
