Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a capable registered nurse to join an interdisciplinary team providing direct care to diverse and complex patients. The role collaborates with patients, families, physicians and other care team members to plan, implement and adjust treatment plans with refined clinical skill.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients.
Manage care and implement treatment plans with refined clinical skill.
Seek and provide feedback to improve clinical practice.
Assume a beginning leadership role with mentoring in this process.
Support onboarding of new team members and act as applicable preceptor.
