Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BCLS, ACLS, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physiologic health status and collect medical history.
• Collaborate with physicians and health team to coordinate and implement care.
• Formulate and adjust plan of care with priorities to achieve outcomes.
• Provide safe, effective treatment and documentation; observe and respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families; support discharge planning and referrals.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and aseptic techniques.
