Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current RN license in Texas.
• BSN preferred; national certification in related field preferred.
• Three years hospital experience preferred.
• Must complete a Clinical Documentation Improvement Course within specified time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients needing placement in acute or observation beds for status determinations.
• Coordinate diversions to home or other level of care appropriate for services needed.
• Serve as liaison with medical staff, nursing, patients and families; requires assertive clinical acumen.
