Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) day-shift role with an evening/weekend/holiday call rotation. Compensation is $43.89 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The RN will provide direct patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, as well as supervising delegated nursing tasks per hospital policy.

Qualifications

• BSN or other nursing degree considered on an individual basis.
• Current Wisconsin RN license
• BLS current or completed within three months of hire
• One year acute care experience preferred
• Must be available for orientation first two weeks on day shift

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through the supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Education:

• Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis.

License/Certification:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin
• BLS current or completed within three (3) months of hire date

Experience:

• Preferred: One-year experience working in an acute care setting.

**Must be available the first 2 weeks of employment on the day shift to attend orientation**
