Job summary

Med Career Solutions in Anchorage is seeking a skilled RN for the Cardiovascular Cath Lab to support invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures. You will demonstrate clinical judgment, nursing responsibility and teamwork in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires 4–6 procedures daily across 3 rooms, on-call within 30 minutes, and 12-hour shifts (7a-7:30pm) with weekend/holiday call. Eligibility includes active RN license, ADN required, BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 2–3 years Cath Lab experience or 5 years high-acuity (ICU/CCU) experience.
• Must have circulating, monitoring and sedation meds experience; 3rd party mapping is not required.
• BLS/BCLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to meet on-call requirements within 30 minutes of the facility.

• Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment and teaching skills.
• Partner with team to ensure high-quality patient care during Cath Lab procedures.

As a highly-skilled and compassionate Cath-Lab Nurse you will provide assistance with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. Qualifications Required:

• Current RN license active and in good standing
• Associate’s Degree in nursing required, bachelor’s preferred
• Two to three years of Cath Lab experience requiredor 5 years of experience in a high acuity setting (Critical Care, ICU, etc.)
• MUST have experience Circulating, Monitoring and Sedation medication (plus exp. mixing sedation drips)
• No mapping experience needed (performed by 3rd party company)
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay rate range: Min $38.79/hr. – Max $53.68/hr. (Based on years of experience)
• Shift Diffs: Nights $4.65/hr., Evenings $2.75/hr., Weekends $2.50/hr., On-call $4.50/hr.
• Certification Diff: $2.00/hr. additional added to pay rate
• Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
• Relocation: Case by case
