Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry to provide skilled patient care using the nursing process. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating care with other departments.

This role requires accountability for the care of assigned patients and alignment with Mercy Service Standards. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, night shifts, with a sign-on bonus for experienced and new graduate nurses.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred.
• Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
