Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. The role follows a 6:30AM-3PM schedule on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with emphasis on coordinated, evidence-based care within a supportive, growth-oriented team.

Candidates must be a graduate from a recognized nursing program, hold a Georgia RN license (or NLC/eNCL multistate), and possess BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• BSN degree preferred.
• RN license in Georgia (Georgia State Licensure or NLC/eNCL multistate) required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS required.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff.
• Follow organizational policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care. Qualifications:
