Job summary

The Heart Hospital in Plano, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, seeks an RN for Cardiac Rehab to oversee patient care in a proactive, team-based environment. You will assess patients, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, effective outcomes in a fast-paced cardiac setting.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited program.
• Specialized field of study in nursing.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• 2+ years in Cardiac Rehab or CVICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families; document learning needs.
• Implement plans, monitor responses, and adjust as needed.
• Delegate tasks following team competency and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize patient outcomes.
