Job summary

Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, WA is seeking RNs to join a patient-centered Cardiac Interventional Telemetry Unit. The 36-bed unit handles MI, oncology, TAVR and chronic telemetry patients, with a fast-paced environment and strong teamwork.

Per diem RN positions require BSN preferred, WA RN license, CPR/ACLS, telemetry experience, and oncology/chemo certification where possible. Rhythm interpretation competency may be assessed in week one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current WA State RN license or Multistate license.
• Healthcare provider CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Recent telemetry experience; oncology and chemo certification preferred.
• Biotherapy certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Rhythm interpretation competency tested in first week.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 36-bed Cardiac Interventional Telemetry and Oncology unit.
• Support MI, post-interventional care, TAVR, dialysis and oncology patients.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes with appropriate actions.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and effective communication.
• Complete rhythm assessment if required during orientation.
