Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Cardiac ICU nurse for FT nights in Illinois. You will apply the nursing process within Mercy's framework, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. You will coordinate with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain accountability for care provided to assigned patients.

Education: nursing program graduation (AD/Diploma/BSN) and an active RN license. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC and others may be required based on unit

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support or higher certifications within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
• Other unit-specific certifications as required.

Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
