As a Regional Level I Trauma Center and advanced cardiac referral center, the hospital provides cutting‑edge diagnostic and interventional cardiac services supported by experienced physicians, highly skilled nurses, and state‑of‑the‑art technology. Cardiac Cath Lab nurses are part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes while enjoying opportunities for professional growth, advanced clinical practice, and continuing education within the renowned Guthrie health system.

Role Summary

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN provides expert nursing care throughout the continuum of cardiac procedures, from patient preparation and procedural support to post‑procedure recovery. This role requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver outstanding cardiovascular care.

Schedule & Coverage

• Weekday, 4 - 9/hour shifts, 8:00am-5:30pm
• On‑Call: Monday-Thursday every 4th or 5th week, 5:30pm-7:00am

Qualifications

• Education, License & Cert: Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BSN in nursing preferred; Specialty certification preferred; BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS unit‑dependent.
• Experience: At least one year of RN experience, or less if transitioned from Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Residency program. Must maintain BLS certification. Other unit‑dependent certifications as required.
• Essential Functions: Employ nursing professional practice: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; develop updates and coordinate patient plans to achieve goals and optimize outcomes; monitor, record, and communicate patient condition; perform and maintain essential competencies as required for the specific area of hire and population served; advocate for ethical, holistic care by partnering in patient‑centered decision making.
