Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Hudson, FL. In this role, you'll assess and provide care for patients across the procedural continuum and assist physicians in operations.

The ideal candidate must possess a Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications (within 6 months), and have a background in cardiac care, with one to three years' experience in a related role.

This full-time position includes rotating weekends and involves collaboration with a dynamic healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Florida Registered Nurse or obtain active FL RN license within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• One to three years' experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care of Cardiac Cath patients.
• Assist physicians during operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patient records, including test results.

Job description

A Registered Nurse is needed for the Cardiac Cath Lab at a 392-bed acute care facility and designated Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, FL. The hospital is home to an accredited Heart Institute, Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center, and was the first in northwest Pasco County to offer a comprehensive cardiac and open-heart program.

Role

In this position, you will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Cardiac Cath patients across the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure continuum. You will assist physicians during operative procedures and administer medications in accordance with physician orders. Maintaining and reviewing patient records, including posting test and examination results, is also a core part of the role.

What we're looking for

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• One to three years' experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician.
• Cardiac experience required (ICU/PCU background accepted).

Schedule

Full-time, days with rotating weekends.
