Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support patient recovery across disciplines in our Washington facilities.

The role emphasizes critical assessment, skilled procedures, and implementation of individualized care plans, with an emphasis on teamwork and patient safety. WA nursing licensure and CPR/ACLS/ENPC/Trauma certs are preferred and expected within stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active WA RN license required or eligible for licensure.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 60 days of start.
• PALS within 12 months.
• ENPC within 12 months.
• TNCC within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, comprehensive care and perform skilled procedures.
• Conduct critical assessments and implement patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate urgency and a patient-first approach in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• New graduate or RNs without E.D. or Critical Care experience AND successful completion of the E.D. residency program.
• Registered Nurse: WA
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 60 Days and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 12 - months
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 12 - months
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months

Preferred

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing and One year of related work experience in an acute care setting
• Previous E.D. experience current within the last 2 years or
• Critical care experience, current within the last 2 years
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• Certified Emergency Nurse
