Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise seeks an energetic Registered Nurse for the OB/GYN Clinic. You will assess patients, administer medications, assist with procedures, and educate patients and families.

You will triage, coordinate care, and mentor a team of clinicians while protecting patient confidentiality. The ideal candidate communicates well, works as part of a team, and maintains accurate records.

Qualifications

  • RN with ambulatory setting preferred.
  • ACEN or CCNE accredited program completed.
  • ID RN license required prior to hire; Oregon licensure within six months.

Our OB/GYN Clinic in Boise is looking for an efficient and energetic Registered Nurse to join their team in providing top-notch care for a broad patient population.

What You Would Do

As an RN in this clinic, you will conduct patient assessments, administer medications, assist with procedures, and provide education and resources to patients and families based on their needs. You will have triage responsibilities and support care coordination efforts. You will also serve as a liaison for both patients and providers and a mentor to clinical staff.

Our ideal candidate has the ability to make decisions and take action in stressful situations, while providing outstanding customer service. He or she needs to have excellent communication skills and must be a team player. The ability to maintain accurate documentation and preserve confidential information is critical.

POSITION SUMMARY & HIGHLIGHTS:

As an RN in the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, you will provide skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers while promoting a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness. You will administer medications, maintain a safe nursing area, and provide education and resources to patients and families based on their needs. RN's are also expected to serve as a mentor to clinical staff, maintain accurate documentation, and preserve confidential information.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 7a - 4:30p

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

RN:

General Requirements:

  • Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Education:

  • An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE

License/Certification:

  • Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.
  • Must provide licensure or proof of application in the State of Oregon within six months of starting
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
  • NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification is required within the first year.
