Forbes Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Forbes Behavioral Health Unit in Monroeville. The unit serves adult patients with various mental health illnesses; Forbes is a 315-bed Level II trauma hospital offering trauma, neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and psychiatry.

The RN will lead in a professional practice setting, assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN license or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Preferred certification in specialty area.
• CPR certification.
• Act 34/33/73 background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Delivers and coordinates patient care as assigned by the physician and nurse leader.
• Assess patient condition and monitor for changes; document and communicate appropriately.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and implement care.
• Promotes patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
