CarePoint Response, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse (SUD Program) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a residential substance use treatment setting.

You will conduct admissions assessments, administer medications, monitor medical conditions, and coordinate referrals under the Nurse Manager’s supervision. The role emphasizes infection control, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support clients on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, detoxification, or psychiatric nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments upon admission and ongoing evaluations.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and policies.
• Monitor clients' vital signs and health status, address withdrawal symptoms, provide interventions.
• Respond to medical emergencies per established protocols.
• Coordinate medical referrals, appointments, and follow-ups for continuity of care.
• Develop discharge plans and educate clients on medications and ongoing needs.
