Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the life cycle. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within hospital protocols and coordinate care with other staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Candidates should hold a Georgia RN license and BCLS; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Various certifications may be required depending on unit and specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Georgia RN licensure and BCLS required; advanced certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality care.
