Job summary
Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Registered Nurse at the Augusta Campus, East Central Regional Hospital. Under supervision, you will assess health problems, develop nursing care plans, maintain medical records, and administer care to ill or disabled clients.
Requirements include an Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program and a current Georgia RN license (or Multistate).
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse or Multistate license.
Responsibilities
- Under supervision, learns to assess client health problems and needs.
- Develops and implements nursing care plans and maintains medical records.
- Administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
- May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
