Job summary

Grandview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee patients and manage the nursing team for the 7pm-7am weekend shift. This part-time role requires solid RN experience and strong leadership in a busy facility.

The ideal candidate will handle stressful situations with composure, ensure high-quality resident care, and drive improvements in workflow and safety for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a nursing supervisor.
• Demonstrated team management and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication and people skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Current unencumbered CT RN license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and the work environment.
• Complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge.
• Supervise nursing staff and delegate duties to LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Document services rendered for billing purposes.
• Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and procedures; ensure infection control compliance.
• Review charting for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a safe working environment and respond to staffing shortages.
• Track infection control and care trends for proactive improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Grandview Rehabilitation and Nursing Centeris seeking a qualified Nursing Supervisor to oversee patients and manage the nursing team of our facility. Our ideal candidate has solid experience as a Registered Nurse and can handle stressful situations. This position requires team management skills and a problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.
• Complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge.
• Supervise nursing staff assigned and allocateduties to LPNs and nursing assistants, as directed.
• Document services rendered to residents for billing purposes.
• Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status of residents.
• Implement established nursing policies and procedures, educating nursing support staff according to facility guidelines.
• Review charting on a weekly basis for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Respond to need for staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff.
• Track infection control, exposure control, and resident care trends to provide proactive improvement.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
