Hartford HealthCare is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager Ambulatory Care. The RN will supervise patient care, clinical staff and unit operations, ensuring high quality, cost-effective, patient- and family-centered care aligned with the department’s strategic goals.

The role supports leadership in daily operations, payroll, staffing, throughput, and performance improvement while maintaining a safe, collaborative environment and ensuring adherence to nursing practice standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BSN within 3 years of the date
• Experience: 2 years of nursing experience required
• Licensure/Registration: RN, State of CT; BLS certification from AHA
• Other certifications may be required by specialty
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: nursing practices and healthcare administration; ability to lead and collaborate; knowledge of regulatory requirements; strong communication; lean and high-reliability concepts

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care, clinical personnel and unit operations
• Oversee daily operations of the assigned area; supervise nursing and non-licensed staff
• Manage resources, payroll, and colleague schedules
• Monitor patient throughput to ensure efficient clinical operations
• Provide a safe and therapeutic unit environment; assist as staff RN when needed
• Support leadership in performance improvement and professional development
