The Avenue at Broadview Heights, a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Broadview Heights, Ohio, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) who is a licensed RN with leadership experience to guide our nursing team and ensure exceptional resident care.

In this role you will supervise staff, oversee care programs, ensure compliance with policies, participate in budgeting, and support the DON in its absence, while promoting a compassionate, hotel-like environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• Management experience in a nursing home preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of nursing regulations and best practices.
• Ability to handle emergencies and sensitive situations professionally.

Responsabilités

• Supervise nursing staff and support the Director of Nursing
• Assess resident care needs and oversee care programs
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and regulations
• Conduct rounds, address concerns, and lead quality assurance efforts
• Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations
• Participate in budgeting and resource planning
• Represent the nursing department in the DON’s absence
