Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an RN Ambulatory Team Lead for Internal Medicine at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights. The role coordinates daily ambulatory operations, oversees care delivery and supports caregiver education to enhance patient experience.

TheInternal MedicineDepartmentprovides comprehensivemedicalservices for adults. A caregiver in this position works7:30am to 4:00pm and may cover evenings and weekends for extended hours if needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.
  • Assistin providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
  • Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.
  • Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
  • Facilitate orientation, teaching,coachingand mentoring of assigned caregivers.
  • Assistin preparing department specific education.
  • Participate in quality initiatives, processimprovementand research activities to improve patient outcomes,experienceand safety.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Graduate of an accredited school ofNursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Two years of recent RN experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or the American Red Cross
  • Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’sofScience inNursing (BSN)
  • PreviousChargeNurse or supervisory experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
  • May requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
  • Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.
  • Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.
