Novant Health Pediatric Concord is seeking a part-time Ambulatory Registered Nurse to join our pediatric clinic team. The role involves rooming patients, performing vitals, taking histories, and supporting providers in a busy outpatient setting.

You will manage EMR in-basket tasks, administer vaccines, assist with triage, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Ideal candidates have an RN license, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; RN license required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Current RN license in appropriate state; ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT preferred.

• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, and prepare patients for provider visits.
• Support providers by assisting with patient care, floating between providers as needed, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
• Manage EMR in-basket tasks, including patient messages, prescription refill requests, lab results, and provider communications.
• Perform laboratory duties, including specimen collection, processing, and documentation, and administer vaccines according to established protocols.
• Utilize clinical assessment skills to perform telephone and in-person triage, prioritize patient needs, and provide appropriate guidance and care recommendations

Work Schedule: Week A: Mon, Tues & Wed 7:30am - 5:00pm; Week B: Wed, Thurs & Fri 7:30am - 5:00pm

The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. The Registered Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current RN license in appropriate state, required.
  • ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.
