Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH is expanding its Neurological Institute with a new ambulatory care expansion. This RN Ambulatory role supports evaluation, planning, and patient care in a high-volume setting.
You will provide professional nursing care in ambulatory settings, perform assessments, administer medications, initiate CPR when needed, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Travel within the region to support clinics may be required; weekends/holidays are not required.

As an RN, you willassistfellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, frominitialintroduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients,familiesand visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.
A caregiver in thisposition worksbetween 7:00am and 5:00pm with no weekends or holidays required.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephonetriage,andestablishcare plans.
Administermedicationand treatments.
Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
Assistwith specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeuticprocedures,and specialized patient care equipment.
Develop, evaluate,adaptand document health education and provide it to patients and families.
Cover other nursing roles within the department.
Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate from an accreditedSchool ofNursing(Diploma,ADNor BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross
In areas performing moderate sedation procedures and/or cardiac stress testing, must have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within six months of hire
One yearof recent experience as an RNORLPN, MedicalAssistantand/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experienceif applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role butremaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting ORa current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area
