Cynet Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for ambulatory care in a physician practice setting. The role supports providers and staff with triage, patient care, and documentation in the EMR.

Requirements include NYS RN license, BLS, at least one year in acute or ambulatory care, and cardiology experience preferred. Must be proficient with manual blood pressures and EKGs and have knowledge of medications. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

Description:The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers professional nursing care in a physician practice setting.This role supports healthcare providers and office staff in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.Responsibilities include triaging patients, providing clinical care, and assisting providers as needed.The RN is accountable for maintaining compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.This role promotes a healing environment and fosters patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Triages and assesses patients, in person and via telephone, utilizing appropriate protocols for timely interventions.
• Conducts patient intake including history, vital signs, and health screenings.
• Administers medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Assists providers with examinations, minor procedures, diagnostic testing, and treatments.
• Performs wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection.
• Educates patients and their support systems on treatment plans and follow-up instructions.
• Supports chronic disease management and preventative screenings.
• Communicates test results and care instructions to patients and support systems.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Documents all patient interactions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.
• Coordinates clinical training and evaluation of staff, while assuring adherence to scope of practice guidelines.
• Mentors and supports licensed practical nurses and medical office assistants.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
• Attends clinical meetings to relay pertinent information to team members.
• Demonstrates understanding and appreciation of team roles and fosters effective shared decision-making.
• Builds a safe, trusting, supportive, and respectful learning environment.

Schedule Notes:Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with an hour lunch.Cardiology experience highly preferred; outpatient experience will be considered.
