Job summary

The University Healthcare Center in Miami is seeking a dedicated RN to provide resident-centered care across shifts. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with local, state, federal, and facility regulations while communicating changes in a patient’s condition to supervisors and physicians.

Essential functions include performing assessments, administering medications, changing dressings, and monitoring vital signs; contributing to treatment team conferences;

Qualifications

• Current FL RN license.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and monitor vitals.
• Carry out physician orders and care plans.
• Document patient status in the charting system.
• Contribute to treatment planning with the team.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Ensure age- and culturally appropriate care.
• Adhere to Standard Precautions and PPE use.
