Job summary

Forest Park Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking for a nursing professional to provide care while ensuring patients' needs are met per standards and guidelines. You will demonstrate knowledge of infection control practices and assist in quality improvement efforts.

The position also involves utilizing manuals for patient monitoring and notifying departments of changes, along with conducting family and patient education.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in state.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met.
• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
• Notifies Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge.
• Conducts family and patient education.
