Job summary

Foundations for Living, a residential treatment center for at-risk youth in Ohio, seeks a dedicated RN to join our team on alternate weekends. The nurse will support medications, health assessments, and care planning within a multidisciplinary framework.

The role requires an Ohio RN license, nursing experience (2+ years preferred), CPR/First Aid, and a commitment to compassionate pediatric behavioral health care. On-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in a mental health setting with adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effects.
• Conduct health assessments and document observations accurately.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team, residents, and families.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
