Job summary

Foundations for Living, a residential treatment center for at-risk youth in Ohio, seeks a dedicated RN to join our team on alternate weekends. The nurse will support medications, health assessments, and care planning within a multidisciplinary framework.

The role requires an Ohio RN license, nursing experience (2+ years preferred), CPR/First Aid, and a commitment to compassionate pediatric behavioral health care. On-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Current RN license in Ohio.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and at least 2 years of nursing experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience in a mental health setting with adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effects.
Conduct health assessments and document observations accurately.
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor and assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring safety and well-being.
Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with the treatment team, residents, and families.
Participate in staff meetings and trainings.

Foundations for Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN - Registered Nurse to join our team and provide vital support on alternate weekends. Our organization operates as a residential treatment facility, catering to at-risk youth in need of specialized care and support. Qualifications

Requirements:

Current RN license in Ohio
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and at least 2 years experience in the nursing field preferred
Valid State Registered Nursing License
CPR and First Aid
Experience working in a mental health setting with adolescents, preferred
Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with mental health teens
