Majestic Care of Toledo is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing, RN to support the DNS in managing the nursing department and delivering high-quality care to residents. You will participate in staff interviews, orientation, performance reviews, care planning, rounds, and infection control, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, at least three years of nursing experience with one year in supervision, and CPR certification, with

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire; maintain CPR throughout employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in interviewing applicants and recommend staffing and scheduling decisions.
• Participate in orientation and in-service education programs.
• Contribute to performance evaluations and personnel records; enforce policies including discipline and termination when needed.
• Assist DNS in ensuring regulatory documentation by physicians and nursing staff is compliant with regional policies.
• Assist with the care planning process.
• Make daily rounds to direct care team members and monitor hazards and service delivery.
• Support CQI activities and follow-up actions.
• Monitor unit status changes and ensure timely reporting and that services meet resident needs.
• Complete chart audits and report results with recommendations to the DNS.
• Ensure infection control techniques are followed.
• Maintain effective communication with families, residents, and staff.
