Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within policy frameworks and work with assigned staff to coordinate quality patient care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing school; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is preferred, with 1 year for PRN positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred; 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia; BCLS certification.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
