Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Admission for a nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role involves direct patient care, in-person assessments, and a hybrid workload across clinic nursing, scheduling, chart prep and RN phone triage.

Position is 4-10 hour shifts, with no weekends or call, and rotates across BJH, Barnes-Jewish West County & South County CAM. Illinois license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing Experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred for higher ladder level.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and home care needs.
• Develops and documents plans of care with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Proactively communicates plan of care across the continuum of care.
