Summa Health is seeking an RN Administrative Supervisor on the Akron Campus to direct and monitor patient care activities, assign and develop staff, and optimize resource use for efficient patient flow. You will collaborate with nurse managers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and accurate census reconciliation.

The role requires an ADN (BSN preferred), Ohio RN license, and at least three years of nursing experience with supervisory exposure.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio.
• Graduate of an NCNE/ACEN-accredited nursing program or CCNE/ACEN equivalent.

Full-Time - 36 Hours - Nights (7p-7:30a)

Summary

Directs and monitors patient care activities under general direction, in collaboration with nurse managers. Assigns work, monitors and develops work performance of caregivers in assigned area. Assumes responsibility for resource allocation during assigned shift. Applies systematic problem solving approach in developing, implementing and evaluating plans for patient flow/placement and efficiency for patient care outcomes and satisfaction. Facilitates admissions, transfers, and discharges by interacting with bed control, multiple departments, nursing management, nursing staff and social services, physicians, other agencies, etc. accountable for verification of census reconciliation.

Formal Education Required

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred
• Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
• Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio

Experience & Training Required

• Three (3) years related professional experience
• One (1) year in a supervisory capacity

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
