Job summary

Ascension Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita, KS, seeks an experienced RN for night, full-time coverage. You will lead direct nursing care, develop patient care plans, and communicate changes to the clinical team to ensure safe, high-quality treatment.

You will coordinate across disciplines to create a seamless patient experience and collaborate with the team to prepare patients and families for discharge when ready. A Diploma in nursing and RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of compassionate, direct nursing care following established protocols.
• Create and manage comprehensive patient care plans and monitor changes in condition.
• Coordinate across medical disciplines to ensure integrated, collaborative care.
• Facilitate safe discharge transitions with the care team and families.
