They practice according to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and evidence-based guidelines, emphasizing individualized care, cultural competence, and partnership with patients and families.

• Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
• Delivering relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient populations.
• Partnering with patients and significant others through effective communication and education.
• Ensuring documentation, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
