Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an RN for our Acute Care Medical unit to provide patient-centered nursing care to adults with complex medical conditions. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, use electronic health records, and may precept or mentor new staff in a collaborative, teaching-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care to diverse adult populations with complex medical conditions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop/implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and safe care.
• Educate patients and families to support health literacy and self-management.
• Use Electronic Health Records to document care and communicate with the care team.
• Precept or mentor new staff as needed to support team development.
