Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse license and credentials as required by state.
• Associate degree or higher in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment, and follow-up care.
