Job summary

Sentara Health Plans is looking for a Registered Nurse for their Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit in Williamsburg, Virginia. This full-time night shift role comes with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 for qualified candidates. The position involves managing patient care for various cardiac conditions and completing a unique 6-month transition program for new nurses.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing Program is required.
BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
New graduate RNs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process.
Manage care for patients with various cardiac conditions.
Participate in mentoring and unit-based preceptorships.
