Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an Accreditation Director (RN). This executive role oversees accreditation for Acute Care Services, ensuring continuous readiness with CMS, DNV, Georgia Rules, and ISO.

The Director leads a team of Accreditation Specialists and Policy/Document Specialists, partnering with Nursing, Risk, and Operations to sustain compliant systems and documentation. The role demands strong communication, organizational, and facilitation skills, with a focus on policy

Qualifications

• RN licensure in GA
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Minimum 5 years in a hospital environment with management experience
• Minimum 5 years of accreditation experience (DNV/ISO) or related healthcare accreditation experience

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous readiness for CMS, DNV, Georgia Rules and Regs, and ISO across system hospitals
• Collaborate with nursing, operations, Risk and other departments to implement improvement systems
• Organize Accreditation team to support survey activities
• Oversee policy and document control processes and policy steering committee
• Coordinate fiscal planning and staffing to support department goals
• Ensure staff competency, licensure, and annual trainings
• Lead Lean initiatives and Quest for Excellence principles
• Support annual pillars/goals and lead special projects
