Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a positive, compassionate registered nurse (RN) for the Aberdeen Medical Center in Aberdeen, SD. Join a family-focused environment and collaborate with a skilled nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The unit offers 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am), a 36-hour weekly schedule, shift differentials, and a plan to rotate hours. A sign-on bonus may be available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians and colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Provides care throughout preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Demonstrates competency with nursing expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
